Home School
What is homeschooling?
Homeschooling refers to the education given to children at home or in a centre by either you as the parent or a tutor.
Why should you consider homeschooling at a centre?
Homeschooling offers the flexibility of working through content at a pace that is suitable to your child, while still maintaining the structure of a ATP/ POA (annual teaching plan and program of assessment). With a centre, a learner is working in a smaller class where lessons can be tailored to the pace and needs of the learner ensuring life-long understanding as well as various methods of learning.
Homeschooling learners are still required to complete assessments as per the CAPS curriculum.
What are the requirements for homeschooling in South Africa?
